How to Download TikTok Live Videos — Save Replays (2026)

TikTok LIVE videos are streamed in real time — and saving them is fundamentally different from downloading a regular TikTok video. Here is what is possible and what is not.

Can You Download TikTok Live Replays?

TikTok does not publicly host live replays the same way it hosts regular videos. After a live session ends, the replay may be available in the creator's profile for a limited time (usually 90 days) as a regular video — but only if the creator chose to save and publish it.

Method 1 — Download the Replay If Published

If the creator published their live replay as a video on their profile:

1. Find the replay on the creator's TikTok profile
2. Copy its URL (tap Share → Copy Link)
3. Paste into SaveFromInternet.com
4. Download as a regular MP4

Published live replays download exactly like regular TikTok videos.

Method 2 — Screen Record During the Live Stream

If you want to capture a live stream while it is happening, screen recording is the only real-time option:

• iPhone: Add Screen Recording to Control Center → swipe down → tap record while watching TikTok LIVE
• Android: Pull down notification shade → Quick Settings → Screen Recorder
• PC: OBS Studio (free) can capture any window in real time

Method 3 — Ask the Creator to Save the Replay

At the end of a TikTok Live session, creators are given the option to save and publish the replay. If you want to watch or download a specific live session, comment or DM the creator asking them to publish the replay — then download it using Method 1.

What Does Not Work

• Pasting a TikTok LIVE URL into a downloader while the stream is still live — live streams do not have a downloadable file, they are streamed in real-time HLS segments
• Downloading an unpublished live replay — if the creator did not save it, TikTok deletes it after the stream ends
