Saving TikTok to your Camera Roll using TikTok's built-in Save adds a watermark. Here is how to get a clean video saved directly to your Camera Roll on both iPhone and Android.
Save to Camera Roll on iPhone (No Watermark)
- Copy the TikTok video link (Share → Copy Link)
- Open Safari (important — not Chrome) on your iPhone
- Go to savefrominternet.com and paste the URL
- Tap Download TikTok Video, then Download Video
- The video opens in Safari's video player — tap and hold the video
- Select Save Video from the menu
- The video saves to your Camera Roll — no watermark
💡 Must use Safari. Chrome on iPhone downloads files to the Files app, not Camera Roll. For Camera Roll saves, always use Safari.
Save to Gallery on Android (No Watermark)
- Copy the TikTok video link
- Open Chrome on your Android device
- Go to savefrominternet.com and paste the URL
- Tap Download TikTok Video, then Download Video
- The MP4 downloads to your Downloads folder
- Open the Gallery app → it appears in the Downloads album
Where TikTok Saved Videos Go (By Platform)
| Device | Browser | Where It Saves |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone | Safari | Camera Roll (Photos app) |
| iPhone | Chrome | Files → Downloads |
| Android | Chrome | Downloads folder + Gallery |
| PC / Mac | Any | Downloads folder |
Troubleshooting
Video saves to Files app instead of Camera Roll on iPhone
You are using Chrome. Switch to Safari — only Safari on iPhone supports direct Camera Roll saves from web videos.
iOS says "Photos access denied"
Go to Settings → Privacy → Photos → Safari and set it to Add Photos Only or All Photos.
